Resume

I have worked for wonderful companies in a variety of industries. After earning my bachelor’s in journalism and English from Butler University, I started a career as a reporter and editor in newspapers and magazines, with associations, and in online adult higher education.

One of the most wonderful parts of my career has been learning. As a reporter, I met entrepreneurs and talked to sociologists about human behavior, and I entered the world of agriculture where I learned about corn, soybeans, and livestock—and that not all tractors are green. While working as an editor with associations, I learned about women’s fastpitch softball and sales compensation.

As an editor in online adult higher education, I learned about much more than healthcare, nursing, business, IT, social and behavioral science, and criminal justice. I found a voice and purpose in education. Understanding how students will receive and interact with classroom materials is my top priority and drives how I help shape that content.
